  • DAY 01: MUMBAI / AHMEDABAD – COLOMBO

    Assemble at Mumbai / Ahmedabad airport to board flight no. XXXX at XXXX hours for Colombo. Arrive at Colombo airport at XXXX hours. Upon arrival, clear immigration, collect your luggage and follow sign for exit. Watch out for our representative who will be holding a placard with RAJDHANI TOURS AND TRAVELS. You will be welcomed and greeted at the airport and transferred to hotel. Check-In Hotel. Later day free at leisure. Indian Dinner. Overnight at Colombo.

  • DAY 02: COLOMBO

    After breakfast, morning at leisure, Afternoon do a city tour of Colombo, including visits to the museum, the old parliament a Hindu temple and a Buddhist temple and also an opportunity to shop in several shopping malls in the city. Colombo, the trade capital, has long been the traditional gateway to the orient. Today, Colombo is a fascinating city with a happy blend of east & west, Past & Present with a charm of its own. The main seaport of Sri Lanka is in Colombo & adjoining it is Pettah which is the local bazaar & trading area. Indian Dinner. Overnight at Colombo.

  • DAY 03: COLOMBO/ ANURADHAPURA / HABARANA

    After breakfast, proceed to Anuradhapura Sightseeing. ANURADHAPURA For over 1000 years Sinhalese Kings with occasional South Indian interlopers ruled from the great city of Anuradhapura. It is the most extensive and important of the Sri Lankan ancient cities. Anuradhapura was found in the 4 century BC and is famous for its Dagabas (Temples), Reservoirs, and beautifully landscaped gardens, the ruins of which still remain to this day. The sacred Bo Tree (the world's oldest tree on record) "Jayasri Maha Bodhi" and the "Ruwanwali Seya" Temples are two of Sri Lanka's most sacred places found in Anuradhapura. In addition to this there are many other historical and religious sites found in Anuradhapura. Indian Dinner. Overnight at Habarana.

  • DAY 04: : HABARANA / SIGIRIYA / HABARANA

    After breakfast, visit the Sigiriya Rock fortress. Rest of the day at leisure. Sigiriya, a rock fortress situated 66 kms from Polonnaruwa, where king Kashyapa built his fortified palace atop and around a 183 m rocky outcrop in the 5th century. Sigiriya is best known today for the paintings of beautiful women found on a sheltered ledge on the side of the rock. These are considered as being part of the world's art treasures. On the summit are the remains of the vast palace of Kashyapa, complete with bathing pool and plaƞorms for dancing girls. In the evening free for Elephant ride (own expenses). Indian Dinner.   • DAY 05: HABARANA – KANDY

    After breakfast, proceed to Kandy, Enroute visit Dambulla Rock fortress, a batik factory and a spice garden. Dambulla, dating back to the 1st century BC, this 500-foot rock mass consists of a series of caves turned into shrines with numerous life size images of the Buddha and other Gods. The most impressive is the 147 long statue of the Buddha. Arrive Kandy and check in hotel.Indian Dinner. Overnight at Kandy.

  • DAY 06: KANDY

    After breakfast, city tour of Kandy including visits to a gem lapidary, and the temple of the Tooth relic. Late evening witnesses the cultural show. Kandy, 116 kms from Colombo, in the foothills of the hill country, Kandy was the last capital of the Sinhalese Kings. The sacred Tooth Relic of the Buddha is preserved for veneration at the Dalada Maligawa. Kandy is the venue of the annual Esala Perehera, one of the most colourful pageants in all Asia, held in honour of the Buddha's relic. The royal Botanic Gardens at Peradeniya have a wide and rare collection of tropical and temperate, exotic and indigenous flora, and an orchid house with the largest collection in Asia. Indian Dinner.   • DAY 07: NUWARA ELIYA

    After breakfast, City tour of Kandy Including visits to the Royal Botanical Garden. Visit The Great Hanuman Temple upon completion proceed to Nuwara Eliya. Arrive & Check in hotel. Indian Dinner. Overnight at Nuwara Eliya.

  • DAY 08: NUWARA ELIYA – NEGOMBO SEA SIDE

    After breakfast, visit to Temple of Sita Devi. En-route visit Tea Plantation / Tea factory. Check in Hotel. Indian Dinner. Overnight at Negombo.
