Itinerary

  • DAY 01: LONDON - NAIROBI

    Assemble at London Heathrow / Gatwick airport to board Flight No. XXXX at XXXX hrs for Nairobi. Overnight in flight.

  • DAY 02: NAIROBI

    Arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) by Flight No. XXXX at XXXX hrs. Upon arrival, clear custom and immigration, collect your luggage and follow sign for exit. Watch out for our representative who will be holding a placard with RAJDHANI TOURS AND TRAVELS. You will be welcomed and greeted at the airport and transferred to hotel. Check in hotel. Later visit Animal Orphanage, which is located in the Nairobi National Park. It serves a treatments and rehabilitation centre for wild animals. Dinner. Overnight at Nairobi.

  • DAY 03: NAIROBI TO LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK (Approx.159 kms – 4 hrs)

    After breakfast, Morning pick-up from the hotel for a drive to the Lake Nakuru National Park, home to thousands of lesser and greater Flamingos. This park also provides sanctuary for Rothschild Giraffe, black and white Rhino and the elusive Leopard. Arrive in time for lunch. Afternoon enjoy game drive by the lake shores lined with Flamingos, host of other birds and wildlife. Dinner. Overnight at Lake Nakuru.

  • DAY 04: LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK TO MASAI MARA GAME RESERVE (Approx. 227 Kms – 6 hrs)

    After breakfast, proceed to the world famous Masai Mara National Reserve. It offers wonderful scenery, plenty of game and is perhaps the only place left in Kenya where visitors may see animals in the same super-abundance as existed a century ago. Arrive in time for lunch at your lodge followed by an afternoon game drive in this vast and expansive reserve teeming with game. Dinner. Overnight at Masai Mara.

  • DAY 05: MASAI MARA GAME RESERVE

    After an early breakfast, there will be the day of tracking game with your experienced guide cum driver. The Mara landscape is scenic savannah grassland on rolling hills, which enables the reserve to attract sufficient rainfall to maintain and support a large population of herbivores, together with the predators that follow. Elephant, Lion, Buffalo can be seen with relative ease though luck is a necessary factor for spotting Rhino and Leopard that complete the big five as the two animals are very timid and sparsely numbered. Plains game like Wildebeest, Zebra and Masai Giraffe abound as well as Hippos and a wide variety of Antelopes including Impala, Hartebeest, Grant Gazelle and Thompson's Gazelle among others. Dinner. Overnight at Masai Mara.

  • DAY 06: MASAI MARA GAME RESERVE – KISUMU (Approx. 210 kms – 5 hrs.)

    After breakfast, proceed to Kisumu. Arrive Kisumu and check in hotel. Later visit to The Kisumu Museum, the Impala Sanctuary, Dunga Beach. Dinner. Overnight at Kisumu.

  • DAY 07: KISUMU – NDERE ISLAND – JINJA (Approx. 264 kms – 7 hrs.)

    After breakfast, visit to Ndere Island via boat. It is heaven for birds. After kilometer of hiking, Ndere Island provides beautiful scenic views of the homa hills to the south, Mageta Island to the east and the glimpses of Kampala in Uganda. The lakeshore supports a wide variety of animals including Hippos, Monitor, Lizards, Nile Crocodiles, Snakes etc. Later proceed to Jinja. Evening arrive and check in hotel. Dinner. Overnight at Jinja.

  • DAY 08: JINJA – KAMPALA (Approx. 96 kms – 3 hrs.)

    After breakfast, proceed to Jinja, town in southern Uganda, on the shore of Lake Victoria, near the source of the White Nile. Take a boat ride to the source of White Nile, visit John Speke’s Pavilion, the great Mahatma Gandhi’s Monument, and later visit Bujali Falls. Later proceed to Kampala. Arrive and Kampala local sightseeing. Check in hotel. Dinner. Overnight at Kampala.

  • DAY 09: KAMPALA TO MURCHISON FALLS (Approx. 285 Kms – 5 hrs)

    After breakfast, proceed for Murchison Falls National Park. Go to top of the falls (time permitted), cross the river Nile by ferry. After lunch Cruise to the bottom of the falls. Dinner. Overnight at Murchison Falls.

  • DAY 10: MURCHISON FALLS TO KAMPALA (Approx. 285 Kms – 5 hrs)

    After breakfast, early morning game drive to spot wildlife – Lions, Buffaloes, Hartebeest, Giraffe and endemic Bird species. Later return to Kampala. Dinner. Overnight at Kampala.
